Caregiver North County - HIRING NOW Monday-Friday

Location: Carlsbad, CA

Schedule: 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (weekends preferred)

Compensation: $20-$25 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable caregiver to provide standby assistance for ADLs (Activities of Daily Living) for a client in Carlsbad, CA. The client needs support in the morning to help with daily routines. This position is ideal for someone who can provide a caring, watchful presence and lend a hand as needed to ensure safety and comfort.

What You'll Do

• Assist with Daily Tasks:
• Support clients with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
• Aid with mobility, transferring, and walking
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration
• Provide assistance with toileting, including managing incontinence needs
• Foster Connection and Companionship:
• Spend quality time with clients through conversation, games, or shared activities
• Accompany clients on short walks or outings
• Offer emotional support and a positive presence in their daily lives
• Keep the Home in Order:
• Help with light cleaning, laundry, and keeping the living space tidy
• Assist with grocery shopping, meal prep, and household organization
• Ensure the client’s living environment is safe and comfortable
• Health Monitoring and Reporting:
• Observe and document changes in the client’s physical or emotional health
• Communicate concerns or change in condition to the office

Requirements

• Cell phone with internet access

• Strong organizational & communication skills
• Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED 
• Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
• Proof of Negative TB results
