Direct Counsel is seeking a Corporate Associate with 1-3 years of experience to join the corporate practice group of a prestigious law firm in Los Angeles. This associate will support middle-market clients and capital providers on a variety of complex business transactions. Ideal candidates will have a general corporate transactional background with experience in one or more of the following areas: mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt financings, joint ventures, technology transactions, and "outside GC" work. Strong experience in drafting and reviewing corporate documentation is essential.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-3 years in general corporate transactional work, with skills in areas such as M&A, financings, joint ventures, or technology transactions.
• Technical Skills: Proven experience in drafting and reviewing corporate documents.
• Education: Excellent academic credentials.
• Skills: Strong written, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

Client Profile:
The firm’s corporate clients include a diverse array of public and private companies, high-net-worth individuals, and family offices across industries such as consumer products, technology/media/telecom, entertainment, food and beverage, financial services, and manufacturing/distribution.

Compensation:
The base compensation for this position is expected to range from $210,000 to $260,000, with significant bonus potential for strong performance.
