Responsibilities

Our growing and dynamic agency is looking for a Creative Director, Digital and Social to join our Digital team to help set the tone and vision for what makes BMF’s digital creative output breakthrough for our clients across all channels.

As a Creative Director at BMF, you will serve as the lead in-house creative for all digital and social content. The primary purpose of this client-facing position is to lead creative development, ideation and content production for digital campaigns across a wide portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate is an experienced agency creative leader who loves bringing fresh, integrated ideas to life and collaborating across the entire project lifecycle.

  • Manage, inspire and mentor the Digital creative team, including all staff and freelancers, from copywriters to art directors to producers
  • Drive the development of innovative and compelling digital creative solutions, across business units
  • Oversee all digital content shoot productions globally
  • Support Digital Account Services in developing accurate pricing and world-class creative teams to achieve client outcomes and maintain BMF profit margins
  • Develop and maintain all creative development process and workflow in partnership with Digital Account Services, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget
  • Serve as the CD on high-impact accounts
  • Partner with Digital Strategy to educate cross-functional teams on digital trends, creative approaches and high-impact opportunities across social/digital channels
  • Oversee the creative development for BMF’s social media accounts, developing and maintaining a clear brand identity and supporting the company’s business objectives
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization to ensure business objectives are met and deadlines are achieved.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating them into creative strategies and solutions.

Requirements

You must have:

  • Must be located in Los Angeles, New York or Miami
  • 8+ years of experience working in a fast-paced agency setting as a digital-first creative
  • 3+ years managing creative teams
  • Experience directing digital content shoots
  • Some experience in project management or production preferred
  • Proven track record of developing high-impact, multimedia digital creative that drives scaled social conversation
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills and ability to articulate concepts and rationales effectively
  • Proven track record of driving innovation and maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
  • An empathetic, patient approach to management as well as a roll-up-your-sleeves, solution-oriented, get-it-done attitude
  • Mac Proficient – including expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, Keynote, Excel, Google Docs, and Outlook

The salary range for this role is $135,000 - $165,000 and is based on experience, responsibilities of the position, subject matter expertise and is location specific.
