SUMMARY
We are looking for a smart, experienced, and motivated Data Coordinator to join our San Diego team.
The Data Coordinator is a junior role for the Data Strategy career track. They will be tasked with owning the execution of tracking and tagging, reporting inputs and outputs, and quality assurance to support strategic initiatives. The Coordinator orchestrates monthly reporting across multiple clients – they will gather monthly reporting from all external publishers and sources, transform the data for ingestion into our ETL pipelines, track all monthly reporting to ensure all publishers are accurately reflected via BI tools, and partner with Data Strategists, Media Planners, and Account Managers in developing client-facing performance reports. The Data Coordinator is also responsible for working with account teams on ad hoc requests; resolving data discrepancies; and supporting data strategy ideation, execution, and quality assurance.
This is a hybrid work-from-home/office position (in-office attendance is required on Tuesdays & Thursdays) and the candidate must live near San Diego, CA.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Production of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc reports for various business needs
- Support in analytical and research activities
- Communicate with external data sources and internal data teams
- Track all monthly reporting requirements
- Transform data for ingestion into internal pipelines
- Collaborate with team members to build new BI solutions and help track KPIs
- Set up and organization of media tracking infrastructure
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 0-2 years equivalent work experience in a Data Coordinator or similar Data & Analytics Role role
- Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of Excel and pivot tables
- Ability to communicate with people with different levels of marketing knowledge and data reporting concepts
- Analytical and research skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Well organized, professional business attitude, personal maturity, and attention to detail
- Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and learning skills
- Self-starting with initiative and passionate about learning the world of data strategy, architecture, and processing
- Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of marketing principles and KPIs
- Understanding data structures, APIs, databases
- Ability to create technical documents and user manuals
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail
- Google Analytics certification - a plus!
- Familiarity with navigating user interface of BI tools - a plus!
WHAT YOU'LL GET
- The overall target range of base compensation for this role is $58,000 - $68,000. Compensation offered will be determined by additional factors such as location and experience
