Are you passionate about storytelling and empowering youth through educational training and hands-on experience? Join our team at the SoLa Foundation as a Digital Producer! JOB SUMMARY
As a Digital Producer, you’ll be responsible for creating compelling video content across various departments, campaigns, and initiatives. This includes shooting, editing, recording, and maintaining a diverse portfolio of content. You’ll manage the entire post-production workflow, ensuring high-quality deliverables that resonate with our audiences. Additionally, you will create a video production curriculum in collaboration with the executive team, and teach the subject matter to youth participants, fostering their creative skills and empowering them to tell their own stories.
You’ll collaborate closely with contracted creatives, providing direction and feedback to achieve our content objectives. This collaborative environment will involve regular meetings and brainstorming sessions to ensure that our content is innovative, inclusive, and impactful.
*Salary Range: $65,00-$85,000*

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Lead day-to-day operations of SoLa Studios
- Establish the Content Creation/Production arm of the Tech and Entertainment Center powered by Live Nation (to open Q1 2025)
- Direct and supervise production staff
- Participate as a core member of the fundraising and revenue team at the SoLa Foundation
- Develop an organizational and collaborative culture that fosters community, economic development, student engagement and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Support the marketing, partnerships and capital teams in promotion of SoLa Studios both internally and externally, making it a known focal point of content and innovation in Los Angeles and beyond
- Develop strategic initiatives that provide long term sustainable growth of the studio
- Develop monetization of SoLa Studios as a competitive creative agency, social enterprise dedicated to youth training and career readiness
- Craft engaging stories and impactful messages to expand SoLa’s reach and influence
- Leverage SoLa’s strategic relationships with brands to ideate and pitch creative campaigns, podcasts, series, and other content projects that win their business for in-house creative production
- Guide awarded projects from concept to distribution to meet brand objectives while aligning with SoLa’s mission
- Recruit, motivate, and develop talented, mission-driven creative teams
- Create educational programming on storytelling, entrepreneurship, generational wealth, and artificial intelligence
- Research and present cultural programming opportunities that spotlight SoLa’s brand and campus offerings to the wider community
- Pinpoint sponsorship prospects aligned with SoLa’s mission
- Develop targeted outreach strategies and compelling presentation proposals tailored to each prospect’s interests and objectives
- Complete other tasks and projects as assigned
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in film, media production, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a film studio, production company, or creative agency
SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Minimum 5 years of experience in content creation and production-related roles.
- Expertise in Adobe Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.
- Proficiency in videography, lighting, and operating a range of video equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in crafting various types of digital content, from ads to long-form content.
- Exceptional attention to detail, particularly in color accuracy, music, and sound design.
- Strong communication, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Experience working in collaborative environments within platforms, agencies, networks, or brands.
- The ability to thrive under pressure and troubleshoot technical and creative challenges with a positive attitude.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with youth-focused organizations or initiatives.
- Knowledge of emerging trends and technologies in digital content creation.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their content requirements.
