SUMMARY

The Director, Digital & Social Media is an experienced marketer with expertise in digital and social media. The ideal candidate has created, managed, and executed highly engaging social campaigns with a proven record of success. The candidate will be our internal and external center of expertise, leading both day to day internalmarketing initiatives on behalf of PIVOT, while also being a resource for external clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, execute, and lead companywide internal department, and external client social media and digital marketing initiatives
  • Plan and execute social media campaigns for internal/external clients, including recommending platform, tailoring recommendations to demographics and client objectives and strategies, optimizing budget, managing/designing creative, designating KPI’s, executing purchases, tracking performance, proposing, and executing adaptations in real-time, and reporting final performance along with future recommendations.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and department heads to provide social media services to each respective division at PIVOT
  • Create, execute and manage paid marketing campaigns on behalf of PIVOT’s Travel and Hospitality division
  • Develop comprehensive marketing plans from initial event launch to post event recap, inclusive of client communication, paid, earned and owned media
  • Provide weekly reporting to management on social media performance, engagement, and key KPI’s
  • Create an internal best practices and protocol for all social media communication
  • Develop and manage a content calendar across PIVOT to ensure we remain relevant and active within the sports and entertainment industry
  • Provide recommendations and manage all 3 rd party social media software and tools that will provide optimal efficiency across the organization
  • Lead and develop all creative for PIVOT owned social media channels
  • Work within the Brand Consulting department to be PIVOT’s center of excellence for any and all social media help for current and future clients
  • Join sales pitches with perspective clients to showcase PIVOT social media capabilities and services
  • Effective and timely communications with both internal and external clients to provide best in class service
  • Keep up to date on industry trends, growth of platforms, and new tools to drive higher success

SUCCESS CRITERIA

  • Ability to grow PIVOT’s own social following, creating higher engagement and brand awareness
  • Ability to manage an internal best practices and protocol for all company social media activity
  • Ability to work with internal stakeholders to partner on respective social media initiatives
  • Ability to demonstrate commitment to PIVOT and PIVOT clients
  • Ability to uncover additional social and digital media business opportunities
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and software
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently

Requirements

Required Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Social Media or other related disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience in Social and Digital Media
  • 5+ years of experience running both paid and owned social media campaigns
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of social media and digital marketing trends
  • Existing book of business and industry relationships

  • An appropriate level of drive and toughness to effectively manage multiple demanding critical projects in a fast-paced, technical environment, and rapidly evolving industry
  • Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail, organization and efficiency
  • Experience using Hubspot, Hootsuite or other marketing software platforms
