Responsibilities:
- Utilize HR analytics to gather, analyze, and interpret data on key HR metrics
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to drive informed decision-making
- Monitor workforce trends and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to maintain positive employee relations and minimize the risk of unionization
- Stay informed about labor laws and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing guidance to mitigate potential issues.
- Address employee concerns and foster open communication channels to prevent union-related challenges
- Leverage HR technology to streamline processes and enhance data-driven decision-making
- Mediate and suggest solutions to employee disputes
- Compile information about compensation and benefits packages based on market data
- Work independently in a highly matrixed structure and have excellent listening, written, and verbal communication
- High level of personal initiative upon receiving management guidance and direction
- Administer the company’s PEO system
- Manage office operations, ensuring that employees have the equipment and resources to accomplish their goals and objectives
- Support C-Suite executives as needed
Requirements
Education & Requirements:
- 8+ years of HR experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or HR certification is a plus
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office Software (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive)
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations, particularly those specific to California
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and approachable demeanor with the ability to interface effectively at all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Experience in a start-up environment preferred
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Familiarity with HRIS and other relevant technology tools
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Ability to convey complex HR concepts in a clear and understandable manner
Compensation Range:
$150,000 to $200,000 depending on experience.
