We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Performance to lead performance marketing for the Frame and Calendar businesses. As leader of customer acquisition, you will be responsible for full-funnel marketing strategy and tactics that drive high LTV customers. This role requires a strong analytical background and experience leading a team (including agencies and partners) to scale efficient media strategies that result in measurable (i.e. incremental) growth and revenue. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in DTC growth and unlocking new channels with a test & learn approach. Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance marketing machine. 
    • Orchestrate a robust test & learn strategy across established and new marketing channels (Meta, Google, TikTok, Influencer, Amazon, Nextdoor, Reddit, TV, Affiliate, Audio, etc). 
    • Conduct rigorous analysis and reporting to optimize budget and prioritize testing. 
    • Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure we are meeting financial targets and inventory needs. 
  • Lead the media team. 
    • Manage a team of world-class marketers and agency partners. 
    • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making to drive campaign success. 
    • Collaborate with retail, ecommerce, brand, and creative teams to build cohesive integrated campaigns. 
    • Vet and onboard third party vendors/agencies/tools that fill gaps to supercharge growth
  • Unlock new growth opportunities.
    • Uncover and leverage customer insights and data to prioritize net-new initiatives.
    • Ruthlessly prioritize new ideas. Rigorously test and validate new opportunities.
    • Prove incremental growth through test & learn and data analysis.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in performance marketing and customer acquisition at a high-growth DTC brand
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: Comfortable with leading and doing. A player-coach mindset. 
  • Experience managing and optimizing multi-million dollar marketing budgets. 
  • Proven track record of opening new channels and leading zero-to-one initiatives. 
  • Customer-obsessed. Bring a keen understanding of customer needs to all marketing efforts. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data sets and generate insights to drive growth and optimization. 
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners
