Full Job Description
The Technology Operations department spearheads all initiatives for core technology, systems, automation, and artificial intelligence. Further, the Director of Tech Ops will fully manage the technology aspect of OTA and third-party vendor integrations with the core ERP property management system. You will be responsible for running the budget and PL for the department as well as working closely with the company CTO for the overall technology budget for the company. The leader for this department will be part of the leadership team at Grand Welcome and will report on metrics and provide insight into technology innovations and enhancements that can reduce cost or provide revenue opportunities to the company.
Responsibilities
- Optimization of Grand Welcome’s ERP property management system
- Manage implementation process and procedures for full configuration and management of said ERP system
- Lead all company technology initiatives
- Manage company's third-party technology system including phone system, inventory management, Office 365, SharePoint, One Drive
- Manage third-party OTA channels as it relates to configuration, troubleshooting and problem solving. Working closely with OTA team to ensure timely resolution and launch of new revenue generating channels
- Provide strategic leadership to the Tech Ops team; be budget and PnL responsible for the department
- Drive new innovation and to constantly evolve offerings and services of Grand Welcome thus enhance brand value
- Collaborate with key stakeholders in revenue, BI, technology, sales, franchisee support, franchise development and executive leadership
- With CTO, run the monthly Grand Welcome Ninety.io level 10 technology and operations meetings
- Manage third party IT operations team and ensure that service levels are meet for internal staff and external clients
- Build out the full ticket flow in Freshdesk (or similar system)
- Manage the company’s Operations Manual and ensure at all times it complies with Grand Welcome brand standards, restrictions, PCI and privacy regulation
- Spearhead the department’s Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) adoption and ensure department rocks, individual rocks ties into company goals and ensure weekly/bi-weekly level 10 meetings are in place with metrics and data verified
- Provide insights and collaborate on strategic level decision making.
- Build out and retain a team of contractors and staff to ensure service level for all aspects of the department remains
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business analysis, or equivalent practical experience
- At least three (5) years of experience in PMS management and configuration, technology management, OTA integrations, and channel management
- People management experience
- Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills, combined with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work in a high-pace environment and apply agile methodologies
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
Compensation $90,000+ 10% bonus
