Full Job Description
The Events Merchandise and Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating product fulfillment and shipment for Bethel Music events. This role involves overseeing the sales booth and POS processes, coordinating shipping, set up, tear down, and volunteer needs for all events, and managing our storage and warehousing facilities.
Salary Range: $40,000 to $45,000 per year
Hours: 40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Manage the coordination of product fulfillment and shipment for Bethel Music events, including management of the sales booth and POS processes.
- Coordinate forecasting, advancing, shipping, setting up, tearing down, and addressing volunteer needs for all Bethel Music Events.
- Oversee the ordering, setting up, and tearing down of event experience needs such as banners, posters, lanyards, and marketing materials.
- Recruit and lead volunteer teams for Bethel Music events.
- Oversee the Bethel Music warehouse, keeping an accurate inventory of all supplies and acting as the main point of contact for warehousing needs.
- Organize product assortments and delivery for influencers, artists, and guests for promotional and marketing purposes.
- Ensure merchandise showroom is stocked, inventoried, and always ready for guests.
- Reconcile payment and monthly budget by updating records with sales and payout details.
- Coordinate incoming shipping and receiving of packages to offices and warehouses.
- Assist on events as needed.
Requirements
- College degree preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Basic e-commerce knowledge and use of sales software and platforms, including Shopify, Google Analytics, Inventory Software, Square, and Amazon.
- Understanding of finance for stock management.
- Must be able to multi-task and function in a fast-paced working environment.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Ability to type and use wrists, hands, or fingers for extended periods of time.
- Able to move, transport, and position equipment and inventory regularly, up to 50 lbs.
- Able to travel on Bethel Music tours and events for up to 2 weeks at a time.
