As the Executive Assistant + Video Game Coordinator at Orange Comet, you will play a pivotal role between our Publishing Group and Game Studios and supporting our Head of Studios and the wider leadership group in production (Head of External Development, Head of UGC and Head of Originals). This role is an Executive Assistant/ Office Manager hybrid role. You will provide support for the Game Studio Executive by handling administrative tasks, managing production co-ordination and providing executive support across all our internal and external video game production. You'll be at the heart of the game publishing process, supporting the production and publishing teams and ensuring that communication runs smoothly from conception to completion. This position will open learning of video game production cycles so requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in an exciting but ever changing environment – and have fun!

The Executive Assistant role is not about administration, but about being the eyes and ears between the production and publishing teams, working directly with the Head of Studios.
This role is full-time onsite at Orange Comet headquarters in Burbank, California.
Requirements
About you
- Passionate about games!
- Clear record of creating and maintaining calendars, schedules, team deliverables, organizing and participating in events
- Highly organized and disciplined but willing to change direction on a dime, in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- A problem-solving mindset with excellent written and verbal skills
- Knowledge of the videogame market and trends
- High proficiency of using tools like i.e. Slack, Discord etc.
- Entrepreneurial and pro-active
- Loves to travel
- Confident and social; able to hold your own at events and meetings
- Loves all things technology and media: games, films, tv and music and love the latest in technology development. Must be on the pulse and open to all and any genres and types!
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage the executive's calendar, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and travel. Assist in organizing and scheduling meetings, reviews, and play testing sessions.
- Function as the office manager at Orange Comet headquarters in Burbank, California
- Work with both our internal developers and external studios
- Live and breathe games and be able to take part in ongoing playtests and other fun stuff!
- Handle highly confidential information and able to work with external Hollywood studios and IP holders
- Provide administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on the executive's behalf.
- Prepare agendas, presentations, and materials for meetings. Document meeting minutes, action items, and decisions made during meetings
- Coordinate onsite and offsite events
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate corporate records, documents, and reports.
- Answer incoming phone calls in a polite and professional manner and accurately take messages.
- Handle printing, scanning, mail/overnight packages, copying, filing, and email/messages.
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit expense reports
- Any experience working at a Games Publisher, Movie Studio or in TV a massive bonus
- Willing to step in and perform other relevant duties as needed.
Physical Demands
- Remaining in a stationary position, that primarily involves sitting/standing.
- Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
- Communicating with others to exchange information.
- Light work that includes moving objects up to 25 pounds.

Additional Information:
The base salary range for a full-time position in Burbank, CA is $65,000-$95,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
