Full Job Description
We are seeking committed and passionate After School Program Assistant to design and/or lead academic, physical, and enrichment activities as part of our East Bay After School Programs at King Elementary. Benefits
- Pay rate: $23 per hour
- Hours per week: 25 hours, plus PD *Hours are Monday-Friday

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED and pass the Instructional Aide Exam OR 48 or more college units, OR Associate Degree
- 1-2 years experience in a K-12 setting
- Available Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week, afternoons until 6 pm
- Commitment to social justice, youth leadership and development
- Be able to maintain confidentiality and handle multiple priorities and strict deadlines
Responsibilities
- Assist the Program Coordinator in all aspects of the day-to-day operation of the program at the school site
- Support program coordinator in supervision and safety of the program
- Create, plan, and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for students
- Promote a safe and positive emotional climate in the classroom and on the campus
