Full Job Description
We are seeking a committed and passionate After School Program Coordinator to design a program that includes academic, enrichment and physical activities at Paul Revere Elementary K-8 School.
Benefits:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or 2 years college (minimal 48 college units) with 2 years related experience
- Available Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week
- Must pass a criminal background check and TB test clearance
- Commitment to a calendar school year (10:30am-7pm) and 6 week summer program (8:00-5:00)
- Ability to work effectively with diverse district/school staff, students, parents, and community members
- Must have a working ability with computers (composing email, scanning, Microsoft office, Google drive, etc)
- Must possess classroom and behavioral management skills for groups of up to 20 students
- Able to implement and supervise a positive and safe learning environment incorporating academics, enrichment and physical activities
- Experience hiring, supervising, and evaluating staff
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate a high degree of integrity
- Ability to practice open, clear and consistent communication
Preferred:
- Spanish Bilingual
Responsibilities:
Collaborative Duties:
- Develop and maintain a high level of communication and positive and professional relationships with all stakeholders including BACR, SFUSD and DCYF.
- Work closely in collaboration with the school principal, school day staff i.e. Social Workers, teachers, district partners, and city partners
- Provide program orientation, encourage involvement, and maintain monthly contact with families and the school community
- Lead a team of after-school program staff to ensure a positive learning environment and program best practice
Program Implementation and Quality Assurance:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the program to ensure compliance (school year and summer)
- Ensure the safety and supervision of children at all times including promoting a safe and positive environment
- Create an inclusive environment for students and deliver anti-bias and culturally relevant project based learning activities
- Staff recruitment, coaching, performance management, and termination
- Gather data, conduct observations, and use assessment and feedback for ongoing program improvement
- Effectively manage student recruitment, enrollment, scheduling and registration procedures to meet program attendance goals
Administrative and Fiscal Management:
- Ensure all records are complete, organized, and on file
- Ensure all student attendance is entered and accurately tracked
- Monitor and approve staff electronic timesheets and contractor invoices
- Submit all required documentation and reports to BACR and the district on a timely basis
- Participate in all meetings, workshops, and activities organized by BACR and district agencies
- Other duties as assigned.

Above is the pay range for this position that we reasonably expect to pay. Individual compensation is based on various factors including experience/education, skillset, and geographic location.
