Expeditor

The Expeditor is responsible for expediting material and assisting the Supply Chain Organization according to proper operating protocol and company policy. This individual assists with the day-to-day operations of the purchasing and planning departments in a cost-effective and timely manner and performs other duties as required by management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work with Planning to expedite material through incoming inspection, warehouse and outgoing inspection departments to meet deadlines
• Make status calls/emails to suppliers as requested by procurement personnel
• Support Planning department with production status updates as necessary
• Maintain daily status on expedited material and follow up as required
• Assist Planners and Buyers with other activities as requested
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• General education in Business classes
• 1+ years of experience working in a similar role
• Proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and various purchasing program modules

The starting pay range for this position is $22.00/hr to $29.00/hr, however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.
