$20/ hour
We are looking for a careful forklift operator to move packages and material around our facility. You will be operating a forklift with the utmost care to ensure efficiency and safety. You will be operating a Stand-up reach truck forklift for fast paced distribution center in Richmond.
Requirements
- Operating Stand-Up Forklift Reach Truck - 2 years prior stand-up forklift experience required.
- Experienced in pulling and checking large orders, use of RF guns and warehouse management systems.
- Shipping/Receiving - Receive inbound loads by pallets or cases. Understand lot #'s, FIFO, inventories, safety, warehouse safety.
- Unloading and loading product from trailers, containers or bobtail trucks.
- Ability to drive an electric rider pallet jack is a plus.
- Dependable transportation to work any shift as schedule could change to accommodate workload. Must be flexible with hours worked as OT is required.
- Able to lift 25 lbs. to 50 lbs. boxes and bags along with standing and walking the entire shift
- Re-stacking pallets that have damaged cases or not road or warehouse worthy.
- Proficient in math and able to pass in-house math test
- Able to read and write English and have good interpersonal skills.
- A background check and drug screen must be passed prior to employment.
