Full Job Description
- Develop scope of work/RFQ for prototype vehicles based on digital design data to meet project targets, function requirements, and manufacturing of global design concepts.
- Maintain accurate technical and development documentation as required for Concept projects.
- Contribute to establishing costs for concept budgets for responsible groups to meet vehicle development targets through optimizing the build process.
- Create and manage schedule of project to ensure milestones are met, report and coordinate resource needs with Studio Director, and effectively utilize contractor resources.
- Consistently communicate project status and participate or lead project meetings and discussions.
- Support and contribute to the evolution of new technologies to improve the design process.
- Initiate and Coordinate global logistics for concept vehicles to events.
- Create and maintain concept records and inform HQ/Leadership about quality status of concept.
- Resolve unforeseen quality and timing conflicts and drive consensus with responsible parties.
- Oversee and implement security protocols and requirements of the R&D Design assets.
- Monitor and manage set up and break down of concept display and placement.
- Support Director in transforming CCO's vision for Motor Sport Team projects in considering various conceptual, technical, and procedural ideas related to the design development and executi on
- Support Studio Projects from ideation to full size model delivery, which includes concept vehicles for design and motorsports division, additionally for low volume production bespoke projec ts.
- Research new companies and equipment to innovate process of concept vehicle building.
- Assist Director with establishing Studio facility, with team and equipment.
- Research and support finance team in planning of various budgets for the studio/concept department including creating purchase requests, BUAs and CRs in SAP and RIMS
- Establish inventory tracking, procurement, receiving, and stocking of studio materials and tools.
Requirements
• Experience in creating/writing manuals for concept vehicles "how to properly use and maintain".
• Knowledge in how to support concepts to be set up for global events, clinics and photoshoots (logistics, security and planning).
• Expertise in fabricating components in case of damage on concepts.
• Experience in composite work for concepts or clay models, for exterior or interior components.
• Extensive knowledge in international logistics and security and CARNET documents.
• Knowledge in metal work and welding.
• Expert in Carbon fiber infusion.
• Experience in window tinting and vehicle wrapping and graphics.
• Hazardous Material handing and reporting/recycling.
• International drivers license
• Scissor and forklift certification and stringo use knowledge.
