Job Purpose:
Conduct comprehensive audits of Federal Housing Administration (FHA), Veterans Affairs (VA), and United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) loans to ensure their accuracy and completeness before submission to the respective agencies. Ensure the insurability/guarantee of loans by performing a pre-endorsement review of all required documents in compliance with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
• Loan Insurability: Ensure all government loans are insured or guaranteed within JMAC requirements.
• Documentation Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams, external parties, and investors to obtain any missing or corrected documents.
• File Management: Organize and stack loan files according to agency standards and requirements.
• Collateral Requests: Request and manage the shipping of notes and collateral to investors.
• Support Role: Assist as a Junior Post Closer by supporting the team with various tasks and requests.
Requirements
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat , Government websites, such as FHA, VA and USDA.
• Knowledge Base: In-depth understanding of FHA, VA, and USDA loan guidelines and regulations.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in mortgage-related roles, particularly in auditing or loan processing.
• Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, capable of fostering positive, productive, and effective professional relationships.
• Multitasking and Prioritization: Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated capability in identifying and resolving issues efficiently.
• Proactive Organization: Highly organized and proactive in managing responsibilities.
• Customer Service: Commitment to providing excellent customer service.
