The Guest Services Associate is the face of AvantStay and our boots on the ground at our luxury hotels. This is one of the most versatile roles at the company and perfect for anyone who loves being on-the-go and finds fulfillment in serving our guests. While the Hotel Manager is ultimately responsible for the asset and guest management of the hotel, the Guest Services Associate is the weekend and after hours lead of the property. The ideal Guest Services Associate is detail-oriented, customer-centric, and thrives on problem-solving guest issues and satisfying guest requests throughout the day. This person will work onsite at our hotels responding to guest issues, ensuring quality output by our housekeeping and maintenance teams, and performing inspections or light housekeeping duties between guest stays.
What you’ll do…
- Conduct inspections of hotel rooms to ensure cleanliness and consistency with the AvantStay brand standard.
- Audit property administrative and maintenance areas to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Respond to daily guest requests, issues, and other outreach
- Guide guests through the AvantStay experience, ensuring they have an amazing first impression
- Troubleshoot minor maintenance and technology issues (e.g., upholstery stain removal, light bulb replacements, access to units, Wi-Fi connectivity or overseeing contractor appointments)
- Perform housekeeping quality audits and inventory checks in our units to ensure that hospitality standards are met consistently and robust feedback to our vendors is relayed in a timely fashion
- Assist with inventory duties such as preparing turnover kits, receiving deliveries, and tracking linen/consumables use
- Maintain and organize gathering spaces including office, lobby, gym and others, as assigned
- Travel to multiple AvantStay properties throughout the local market, as required
Requirements
- “Guest First” attitude towards hospitality including an insatiable need to create great experiences, an impactful first impression.
- Broad range of technology experience including different property management systems
- Excellent communication skills - ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders
- Comfort working in a startup environment with empowerment to make decisions that enhance the guest experience.
- A positive attitude, self-starter mentality, and the ability to work effectively both in a team environment as well as independently
Benefits

- $22-24 per hour, depending on experience
