Hard Demolition and Grading Foreman

The HD Senior Field Employee is a key member of the field operations team responsible

for executing heavy-duty construction tasks with an elevated level of expertise. This role involves operating

heavy machinery, overseeing project site activities, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The

Senior Field Employee will work closely with supervisors and other team members to ensure that projects

are completed efficiently and effectively.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy-duty construction equipment safely and efficiently, including excavators, bulldozers,

and graders.

• Assist in the preparation and execution of daily work plans and schedules.

• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

• Mentor and train junior field employees on equipment operation, safety practices, and job

responsibilities.

• Collaborate with supervisors to identify and resolve issues affecting project progress and quality.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, equipment usage, and material inventory.

• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of machinery and tools used on-site.

• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and project managers regarding project

status and challenges.

• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Other Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in heavy equipment operation preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty construction or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and equipment operation.

• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Must be able to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 lbs).

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and kneel for extended periods.

• Capability to operate heavy machinery and perform physical labor as required.

• Good vision and hearing for monitoring site conditions and communicating effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
