Full Job Description
Mark III Construction is currently seeking a HVAC Trainee for the Sacramento area. This HVAC Trainee will be responsible for assisting HVAC service technicians with routine repairs along with the knowledge listed below.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with customer.
- Comprehend directions and retain knowledge.
- Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and adjustments, clean and calibrate various systems to assure proper system operation, and be capable of learning how to do a profitable P.M.
- Determine the cause of, and correct, condensation problems.
- Prepare records and reports describing procedures, actions taken and recommended solutions.
- Prepare and submit requests for supplies for van stock.
- Complete all paperwork in a timely manner including workorder, quote requests and weekly timesheets.
- Have general mechanical and light electrical capability is a plus.
- Be available and willing to travel and work overtime, when necessary.
- Follow all pertinent rules and regulations, guidelines, safety orders, departmental operating procedures, and safety regulations to ensure that work is performed in compliance with applicable law.
- Maintain all company tools, equipment, and company vehicle and have own hand tools.

- Some knowledge of HVAC fundamentals is a plus.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Trade school education a plus.
- HVAC Experience is a plus
- Computer literate with the ability to navigate software programs via a tablet or smartphone.
- Must have a clean driving record.

Hourly Wage: $20/hour - $22/hour DOE
