We have a current opening for a Human Resources Intern at our Sacramento, CA office to help support our people pipeline strategy and objectives.
The Human Resources Intern will be apart of both the HR and Talent teams here at Royal, working directly with the HR team to provide support on various project. These projects will support the growth and development of new and existing employees.
Success in the position is achieved through the following duties & responsibilities:
- Draft, curate, and design guidelines and processes around the development of people.
- Attend weekly meetings regarding the 30/60/90-day objectives for the people pipeline initiative, involving succession planning, training, competency models, labor projections, compensation analysis and performance.
- Coordinate project sessions and document meetings.
- Support and assist with the restructure and organization of our current development program for existing platforms.
- Revise, reformat, and quality assess existing resources – ensuring consistency with document control standards and alignment with our branding guidelines.
- Assist with writing and transcribing material, training resources, and templates.
- Provide administrative and communication support as needed.
Requirements
- Proactive learner who is internally motivated, seeks out answers, and adapts quickly.
- Team and customer-oriented individual with the ability to build strong relationships.
- Exceptional written and communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- The ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s program. Preferred focus in HR, Communications, Social Science, or Business Administration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. OneNote experience is a plus!
