Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Director to oversee and manage our IT department. This role requires a professional with a profound understanding of network infrastructures and hands-on experience. The IT Director will play a crucial role in ensuring that our technology infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently, supporting our mission to deliver unparalleled digital experiences.
This position reports directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the IT department, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructures.
- Ensure the reliability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and infrastructure.
- Develop and implement IT policies and best practices for IT security and disaster recovery.
- Collaborate with department heads to assess and address IT needs and to ensure the alignment of IT services with business goals.
- Manage IT projects, including budgeting and timeline creation, to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership, demonstrating deep technical expertise in network infrastructure and IT systems.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and advancements to recommend and implement innovative IT solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers.
- Prepare and present reports on IT department performance, challenges, and progress to the CTO and other executive team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing IT teams and projects.
- Deep understanding of network infrastructures, including LAN/WAN, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT infrastructure and systems.
- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of leading IT projects to successful completion.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of motivating and managing an IT team effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and executive management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Must be willing to work on-site at Thunder Studios in Long Beach, CA regularly.
- Must be willing to work odd hours to accommodate working across different time zones and the Studio’s client needs.

Salary:
$120,000-$160,000
The base salary range is applicable across the United States. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location
