Opening its doors over 40 years ago, FSSI is one of the largest woman-owned providers of document services in the western United States, specializing in highly-customizable print and mail, electronic delivery, marketing and compliance solutions. As a vibrant, growing organization, FSSI is looking to expand our team.

We are currently looking for an IT Project Coordinator to join our team in Santa Ana, CA. This position coordinates multiple small to large scale projects for Application Developers and Operations team members using Workfront® project management software. Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00 am – 4:30/5:00 pm. Hybrid schedule option available, working from home 3 days a week.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Account Representatives to gather and document technical requirements and define project scope.
  • Create work breakdown structures, obtain estimates and build project schedules using Workfront®.
  • Organize weekly meetings for major projects with stakeholders to review open issues and deliverables.
  • Monitor and adjust project schedules and requirements with scope or priority changes.
  • Perform technical research for development and production issues by analyzing data files, file layouts and data mapping.
  • Provide process improvement ideas based on observations and/or interactions with development and operations.
  • Work with department managers to ensure development setups are optimized and complement an efficient production process.
  • Document customized application processes.
  • Effectively lead project teams to achieve major milestones on time.
  • Assists Management, Client Services and/or Accounting in promptly resolving questions or problems.
  • Learn the functionality of Workfront®.
  • Learn how to use and navigate FSSI’s internal tools and systems.

Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Minimum 2 years of project coordination/management experience, with at least 1 year of project coordination experience in a IT/software environment.
  • High school diploma is required. Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred.
  • IT and/or Project Management related certificates are a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Firm understanding and proven history of practicing Traditional Project Management principles.
  • Must effectively interpret and communicate complex technical concepts and processes often.
  • Technically savvy with a desire to learn new software and digital tools.
  • Effective organizational skills to maintain a clean project queue and accurate project schedules.
  • Displays professional communication skills, including business writing prowess.
  • Quick learner, adaptable to change, goal and detail orientated.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Regularly required to use hands and/or fingers to grasp, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; and stand and walk. Regularly required to stand, walk, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision skills required by this job include close, distant and peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustments.

Hiring Pay Range (hourly paid): $26.45 - $31.25 per hour
