Universal Staffing is seeking a Junior Account Manager who will support overall sales and procurement efforts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, and contribute to the company's growth and success in the produce market.

Essential Duties

• Assist in sourcing and purchasing produce from suppliers.
• Identify suppliers, negotiate prices, and coordinate logistics.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Prepare sales contracts and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and interactions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales, logistics, and procurement.
• Proactively address challenges to maintain smooth operations.
• Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills with a keen focus on proactive problem-solving.
• Build and nurture relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners to foster a collaborative environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree is a plus.
• 1-2 years of proven experience in produce sales.
• CRM/ERP efficiency and ability to adapt to new platforms and software.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to ensure clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a knack for relationship-building.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Embody a continuous learning mindset.
