Junior Art Director

Omelet, an award-winning, independent creative agency with a growing and exciting client roster, is seeking an energetic and driven Junior Art Director for its Culver City headquarters location (currently hybrid, on-site 2x a week).

Candidates must be based in Los Angeles.

The Junior Art Director will help develop concepts and execute artwork and copy for campaigns across a variety of projects for digital, social, broadcast, and OOH. We are looking for a candidate who has a strong eye for design, experience building presentation decks, and is able to interpret a creative brief. The Junior Art Director is culturally curious, able to multi-task, and thrives on providing options.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Keep up to date with popular culture and trends
• Develop design concepts into art layouts and prepares layouts
• Work on several campaigns at once
• Participate in strategic creative brainstorming sessions that produce fresh ideas
• Assist with amending, revising, or redeveloping campaigns in response to feedback from the creative director or clients
• Work with brand management team to review creative strategies and execute marketing projects
• Maintain high creative standards through all stages of development and production

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Completed internship and/or 1 + years experience as an art director in advertising, media, or production company
• The ability to collaborate, to take constructive criticism, and to seek out and act on peer/client feedback
• Capacity to initiate, take ownership, and complete projects
• Comfortable writing in multiple styles and for various formats and channels
