Full Job Description

Ewing Outdoor Supply is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Branch Manager for our Lake Forest location. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading all branch operations while ensuring a high standard of customer service and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to team development, and a strategic mindset focused on driving sales and profitability.

As a Branch Manager, you will create a positive and productive work environment, oversee day-to-day tasks, manage staff performance, and implement effective strategies to enhance operational efficiency.


Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee all branch operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
  • Assess local market conditions to identify sales opportunities and competitive advantages.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to drive growth and profitability.
  • Set performance metrics, monitor progress, and report on overall branch performance.
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment through effective communication and leadership.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor branch staff to foster a high-performing team.
  • Manage relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Completion of SP4 or MIT (internal applicants)
  • 3-5 years of experience in a management role, preferably in the landscaping or irrigation industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing principles.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
