Our client, a top financial services provider in Encino, is seeking an experienced Lead Accountant (CPA) to join their accomplished team. This firm is celebrated for its expertise in financial management, and you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional results to their diverse client portfolio.
Role Overview:
In this key position, you’ll influence client financial strategies with a blend of tax planning, financial analysis, and strategic oversight, all within a collaborative and innovative workplace.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax planning, compliance, and preparation to develop tax strategies for diverse clients.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to aid informed business decision-making and strategic planning.
- Review and prepare financial statements and reports in line with GAAP and regulatory standards.
- Mentor and guide junior accounting staff, fostering a productive and growth-centered team environment.
- Partner directly with clients to understand and meet their unique financial objectives.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and implement best practices to improve financial operations.
Requirements
- Active CPA license required.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within a business management or CPA setting.
- Proficient understanding of tax laws, financial regulations, and GAAP principles.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, such as QuickBooks or SAP.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex financial information.
- Proven team leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage staff.
