Pay Range: $93,150 - $113,850/year, plus full benefits, 17 days’ vacation, and a 401 (k) bonus and matching!
Location: Covina, Hybrid Office - 3 days WFH, 2 days On-site
Schedule: Flexible! Monday through Friday, 9 am - 5 pm. Occasional weekends and evenings.

Job Summary:
The Manager of Masonic Outreach Services (Southern California) oversees the administration and coordination of senior and family programs. These programs provide care-related services to seniors (aged 60 and over) and children and family services (those under 60) within our community. This includes offering direct financial assistance, care management, and information and referrals to appropriate senior and family service agencies across the state.
The Manager of Masonic Outreach is exempt and reports to the Director of Masonic Outreach.
Responsibilities include:
Program Management: Oversee the daily operations of the MSOS, MFOS, and DWB programs, including supervising care managers in Northern CA, managing financial expenditures, and ensuring compliance with care plans.
Client Support: Guide clients and families through the application process, review and approve care plans, and address client grievances to ensure equitable solutions.
Training and Development: Supervise and train remote Care Managers, develop training programs, and organize the Annual MOS Staff Retreat with the MOS team.
Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to developing strategic initiatives for the MOS Department, including participation in the Lodge Outreach Program and presenting at Masonic events.
Administrative Oversight: Manage the accounts payable process, ensure data reporting integrity, and provide backup support when key department leaders are absent.
Community Engagement: Conduct presentations to increase program awareness and support the Manager of Outreach and Education in facilitating training sessions for lodge leadership.
Requirements
SKILLS, ABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE
- Must be self-motivated and customer service oriented with a demonstrated compassion for and understanding of issues facing older adults and families.
- Extensive background in managing caseworkers and operating a geriatric care management program. Knowledge of rules and regulations for retirement communities, residential care facilities, and skilled nursing homes.
- Demonstrated experience and background in creating and streamlining processes and procedures to ensure high-quality and effective care with tight audit controls.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES/CERTIFICATES
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the necessary knowledge and abilities listed, typically:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or other Social Sciences, Gerontology or Humanities with program management experience. A master’s in Social Sciences or Gerontology with supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
- Ability to obtain Care Manager Certification
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license without restrictions. Must be willing to travel throughout the State in automobile and via air travel.
