Chemix is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager of Supply Chain and Procurement to lead our supply chain operations. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of supply chain management, from sourcing and procurement to logistics and inventory control. Your expertise will help streamline processes, reduce costs, and ensure the timely delivery of materials critical to our innovative battery technologies.
As a key member of our team, you will collaborate with cross-functional departments to support R&D and manufacturing efforts. You will be responsible for developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and optimizing inventory levels to meet production demands. Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day procurement of key hardware and components, including PO generation, invoicing, and payments.
- Collaborate with executive management to develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
- Oversee the planning and execution of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Coordinate with suppliers and different Chemix sites to streamline supply chain processes and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Analyze logistics performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in procurement and logistics.
- Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement and logistics management, with a preference for experience working with suppliers in Asia.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP, supply chain management software, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Mandarin (spoken and written) is preferred.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience in the battery or energy storage industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
