Full Job Description
The MCS Manufacturing Associate will support development, clinical, and launch activities in a dynamic production environment. Under general supervision, the associate will perform various manufacturing operations according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on operations including set-up, cleaning, and sanitization of manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare buffers and media according to manufacturing procedures (MPs) and SOPs.
- Follow GMP documents (SOPs, MPs) with strict adherence to safety and compliance.
- Monitor and perform critical processes with basic troubleshooting capabilities.
- Conduct in-process sampling and operate analytical equipment.
- Clean small and large scale equipment used in production activities.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace.
- Work in a clean room environment with full clean room gowning, including steel toe shoes, hairnet, and gloves.
- Initiate quality reports.
- Draft and revise documents (SOPs, MPs).
- Identify, recommend, and implement improvements related to routine functions.
- Review documentation for assigned functions (equipment logs, batch records).
- Perform rigorous, repetitive work.
- Work around high-pressure systems and occasionally heavy equipment.
- Available to work various shifts, including days, swings, nights, weekends, holidays, and different hour configurations as dictated by the production schedule.
Requirements
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly lifting up to 35 lbs, pushing and pulling objects requiring up to 50 lbs of force.
- Performing physical movements necessary for daily functions (bending, reaching, climbing, kneeling, squatting, etc.).
- Multiple Shifts Available
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree OR
- Associate degree and 4 years of experience OR
- High school diploma / GED and 6 years of experience.
