Full Job Description

We are seeking a new member of our business development team dedicated to transforming vision into value for Motivo and our clients.  Our team has been commissioned to design, engineer, and fabricate hardware that push technology forward in a variety of exciting industries.  Our clients span successful entrepreneurs to the largest and most impactful technology companies in the world.  We provide our clients tightly-integrated, multi-disciplinary product development teams to turn their ideas into products.  This role will be responsible for generating leads, strategic sales of our services, and managing our front-end pipeline of new clients and opportunities.

Responsible for:

  • Company level marketing strategy: Outward facing social media content and cadence, targeted event attendance, and brand positioning.
  • Market research and project identification in emerging technology.
  • Client capture activities: Initial contact, scoping new projects, and selling/aligning Motivo services.
  • Proposal management: Setting capture strategy, driving collaborative content generation, editing, and delivery and presentation.
  • People/team management: assembling internal teams to execute marketing and/or proposal efforts, setting expectations, and managing outcomes.
  • CRM tool management, insights & analytics, and opportunity tracking.
  • Motivo representation at external events to expand the network.

Requirements

  • Outgoing and effective communicator with a passion for technology.  Able to absorb and reflect our clients’ often audacious visions.  Able to tell (and write) a great story.
  • Organized and able to handle competing priorities.  Well versed in current tools/tech to stay on top of tasks.
  • Excited by matchmaking and selling wins.  Experienced or certified in actual sales methodology (ie: Spin Selling) is a plus.
  • Able to navigate and toggle between technical and business/strategy conversations as needed.  And knowing when to pull in your execution team and SMEs for best outcomes.
  • Desire to travel (up to 25%) to meet prospective clients and evaluate their teams & products.

Base Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000

Annual Profit Sharing estimate: $10,000 - $24,000

Salary is dependent on experience, knowledge, and interview performance.
