Role Overview: We are seeking a versatile and driven Marketing Coordinator with a strong focus on e-commerce to join our team. This role will support key marketing initiatives across various channels, including social media, retention marketing, Shopify merchandising, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and TikTok marketing. The ideal candidate is adaptable and has experience across different areas of e-commerce marketing, with a passion for driving growth and enhancing the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram, to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Collaborate on the development and execution of TikTok marketing strategies, including content creation and influencer outreach.
  • Assist with Shopify merchandising, including product updates and collections, and optimize the online store for a seamless customer experience.
  • Support email and SMS marketing campaigns with a focus on customer retention, including segmentation and automation.
  • Implement and optimize conversion rate optimization (CRO) initiatives to improve site performance and increase sales.
  • Coordinate and execute digital ad campaigns, analyzing performance and providing recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze marketing data and customer insights to inform decisions and optimize marketing efforts across all channels.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with customer service, product, and creative teams to ensure alignment of marketing initiatives.
  • Manage a calendar of marketing activities, ensuring timely execution of campaigns and promotions.
  • Stay updated on e-commerce and marketing trends, bringing fresh ideas to improve the customer experience and drive sales growth.

Location and Work Environment:

  • Hybrid work model: 2 days in-office per week, remaining days remote.

Initial Engagement:

To ensure the best fit for both the candidate and Alabaster Co, this role will start as a part-time or contract position for the first three months. This trial period will allow us to mutually assess the fit and performance before transitioning to a full-time role. We value making thoughtful and deliberate hiring decisions, especially as a small team.

Requirements

  • 0-3 years of experience in online marketing or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in email marketing platforms, SMS marketing tools, and CRM systems.
  • Experience with loyalty programs and mobile app management (Tapcart preferred).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
