Full Job Description
We are seeking a creative, talented, kingdom-minded Marketing Project Manager to enhance Bethel College’s digital and creative presence, elevate brand awareness, and contribute to our global impact, partnerships, fundraising and enrollment efforts.
The Marketing Project Manager directly reports to and supports the VP of Marketing. The role requires dual focus and ability: 1) Project Management, including oversight of project tasks and timelines, campaigns and event calendars and 2) An understanding of Marketing and content creation, aimed at student recruitment and Bethel College brand awareness.
This role is responsible for execution and implementation of the marketing strategy, under the direction of the VP of Marketing. Additionally, this role works closely with both in-house and external marketing teams to gather relevant marketing data (views, leads generated, online growth). May also work closely with various staff and students in the creation of innovative marketing content and events.
Pay Range: $18.00 - $24.04 per hour
Hours: 40/week
Requirements
Responsibilities
- Work with the VP of Marketing to implement and execute marketing plan and strategy.
- Project Management: Manage and oversee the marketing team’s Project Management System (PMS), tasks, timelines and calendar.
- Support daily work of the in-house and external marketing teams and keep team accountable.
- Work with various staff and students in the creation of innovative marketing content and events.
- Gather relevant and actionable marketing data from all channels.
- Ideate with VP and team on ways to engage and identify new channels and marketing platforms to reach possible future students.
- Collaborate in content creation.
- Copywriting, including but not limited to email campaigns, captions, promo scripts and more
- Collaborate with other departments in Bethel to maximize Bethel College brand awareness.
- Work with Bethel College Admissions to staff conference booths.
- Additional responsibilities at the discretion and request of VP of Marketing.
Requirements
- Strong project management skills and PM software experience (Monday, Click Up, etc)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Creative thinker with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions and strategy
- Good analytical skills – must be able to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insights.
- A good understanding of the nature and usage of different media channels for effective communication.
- Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines, ensuring speed to market whilst maintaining quality of work.
- Collaborate with our Operations & Admissions team to support our admissions process.
- Administrative, organized and detail-oriented.
- On set video production experience
- Willingness to learn, grow in skillset, and remain flexible
- Organized and skilled with basic software (ie Google Docs, Folders, Calendars)
- Excellent time management
- Good communication and decision-making abilities
