Full Job Description
The Media Services Project Manager is responsible for all Media Services account management duties, which include managing Entry into Service (EIS) and initial IFE branding activities of the program, and building ongoing relationships to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. A Media Services Project Manager has the ability to identify opportunities to grow existing accounts, including offering new features to customers, as well as ensuring customer feedback and needs are addressed internally. The Media Services Project Manager works in conjunction with Programs, Creative, and SW/Product development to ensure timely deliverables and Tools usability. This individual must be familiar with a variety of the concepts, practices, and procedures within the IFE field, and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Role is further expanded to include operations and administrative responsibilities to run and lead the department with best practices and works in conjunction with the account manager. The Media Services Project Manager typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the world’s leading airlines and lead the design and execution of their passenger’s in-flight entertainment experience (PRE EIS)
- Have a full understanding of the IFE product, branding design, development and integration process and coordinates the priorities with the branding staff
- Report content and branding schedule and delivery updates to the PMO and account managers
- May deal with contracts and contract maintenance with customers and content vendors
- Responsible for internally driving SVT and Entry into Service deadlines and externally aligning content service providers and airline customers to the same goals
- Coordinate with both internal and external cross-functional teams to understand latest features and technical enhancements
- Coordinate the customer brand requirements to our Design teams and ensure the proper creation and delivery of brand assets
- Develop and maintain departmental operational definitions and procedures
- Monitor program schedules and commitments and notify appropriate personnel of possible impacts(s) or change(s)
- Act as an internal advocate for the customer by identifying and documenting product requirements for services
- Meet agreed upon deadlines for the implementation of services, and prioritize them based on time-to-market and resource availability
- Coordinate with both internal and external cross-functional teams to ensure proper milestones and development are aligned
- Learn and implement business acumen in order to be able to drive strategy and bring products/services to market
- Support Business Development/Sales and Marketing to assist airline with selection of all Media, GUI, and Applications desired for entry into service
- Create Presentations and Reports for Program/Executive Management on Media requirements and status
- Represent the company during customer and 3rd party provider meetings to properly manage customer media and creative services
- Creation of billing templates based on content services agreement
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 5-7 years of experience working in similar role
- In-Flight Entertainment industry experience
- Meticulous file maintenance skills
- Proficient, working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and a Project Management Software program
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Knowledge of MPAA regulations
Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $74,000 to $93,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
