Are you a patient and compassionate individual who loves working with children? We are seeking an enthusiastic Music Therapist to join our team, providing therapeutic music sessions to small groups of children aged 5-17. Our groups are divided by age and abilities, and we welcome individuals who are passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives through the power of music.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate therapeutic music sessions for small groups of children aged 5-17, divided by age and abilities.
- Create engaging and age-appropriate music activities to promote self-expression, emotional regulation, and social interaction.
- Adapt sessions to accommodate children with behavioral challenges and those who are non-verbal.
- Provide a supportive and nurturing environment where children feel comfortable exploring music and expressing themselves.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure the success of each group session.
Location: 21777 Ventura Blvd, Woodland Hills, ca 91364
Schedule: Afternoon and weekend sessions as needed.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy or a related field.
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a therapeutic or educational setting.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Availability to work in the afternoon and on weekends.
- Ability to work with children with behavioral challenges and those who are non-verbal.
- Strong musical skills and the ability to create therapeutic music experiences for children of varying ages and abilities.
