Full Job Description
We are seeking a NAQC Automotive Technician to join A Society Group! In this role, you will be expected to fulfill the duties listed below:
- Support incoming and outgoing shipments
- Load and unload materials and products, verifying and documenting receipts and shipments
- Maintain accurate inventory records of tolls and shop supplies
- Assist in workshop tasks, including but not limited to preparing work areas, basic machine operations under supervision, and routine maintenance of basic tools.
- Maintain workshop organization
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures, actively contributing to a safe working environment.
- Help as needed with other work around the work shop.
- Provide support in managing waste disposal and recycling efforts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Handle administrative tasks related to logistics and workshop operations, such as updating logs, inputting data into systems, and managing minimal paperwork.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require additional certification or training
- Prior experience in a workshop setting is a plus but not required
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment relevant to the departments focus
- Forklift certificate is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, moderately to heavy lifting is required, max 51 pounds
- The position requires 20 hours per week, with the possibility of overtime during peak periods.
