Auria is looking to hire a Mid-level Network Engineer in Camp Pendleton, CA!
This position supports the Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) Networks, Engineering, Test, and Cybersecurity (NETC) Joint All-Domain and Control (JADC2) Support Services.
Salary Range: $100,000 - $110,000
Responsibilities:
- Install, modify, and troubleshoot local area networks (LANs), WANs and Virtual Networks at all levels of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) reference model Layer-1 (Physical), Layer-2 (Data), Layer-3 (Network), and Layer-4 (Transport)
- Analyze test network infrastructure, develop recommendations, and implement improvements for improved network reliability and throughput for MCTSSA test and tactical networks
- Determine the effectiveness and efficiency of the test/engineering network infrastructure along with its participating air C2 systems.
- Develop and implement strategies for improving test networks and further leveraging these systems to increase network communications capabilities or test infrastructures
- Investigate emerging LAN, WAN and Virtual Network technologies, to include those employed in USMC tactical networks, which provide a greater benefit to the current test and USMC tactical networks per the OSI Reference Model Layer-1 (Physical), Layer-2 (Data), Layer-3 (Network), and Layer-4 (Transport) solutions
- Collect network data from test and engineering events to support event analysis and reporting in accordance with MCTSSA Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), implement the proper ports and protocol policies
Requirements:
- 5+ Years’ of Command and Control (C2) Network Engineering experience
- IAT Level II (Minimum)
- Extensive experience installing, modifying, and troubleshooting local area networks and virtual area networks including Combat Operations Centers
- Experience analyzing test network infrastructure, assessing efficiency, and implementing improvements for network reliability
- Knowledge of all levels of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI ) reference model
- Ability to work autonomously
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Problem-solver
- High emotional intelligence with passion for self-development
- US Citizenship is required
- Active Security Clearance Required (Minimum Secret)
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related technical field (Preferred)
- Network Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, CWNA) (Preferred)
