Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented caregiver to provide exceptional care for a male client in La Jolla. The ideal candidate will be reliable, able to follow instructions accurately, and maintain a high standard of hygiene assistance and professionalism.
Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
Position Type: Ongoing
Qualifications:
- Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
- Personal hygiene, including bathing and grooming
- Assisting with bowel movements
- Cutting food and assisting with meals
- Mobility assistance and transferring
- Provide consistent and reliable care
- Follow detailed instructions and complete tasks accurately
- Maintain a quiet and respectful environment
- Respectful of the client's preference for minimal conversation
- Utilize downtime effectively while remaining available for any client needs
- Drive the client as needed for appointments and errands -- REQUIRED*
- Excellent communication and observational skills

Requirements
- Cell phone with internet access
- Strong organizational & communication skills
- Certifications that are preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
- Active Home Care Aide status (Unsure? We can show you how!)
- Proof of negative TB results
- Valid driver's license and active car insurance
