ABOUT THE ROLE
This role will guide and support major business operations and will drive process improvement and innovation in those efforts. This role is responsible for managing the infrastructure of the wholesale, ecommerce and retail channels to create effective systems for projects, people and overall business health. We are looking for someone who is proficient in Excel and has ERP/Inventory management system experience.
This role operates out of the Corporate HQ office.
Requirements
Ecommerce Operations
- Develop, maintain and report on multiple key performance indicators related to inventory, returns, accuracy, freight costs, quality and productivity.
- Support Director of Operations with reporting, DTC fulfillment, order flow, and inventory accuracy, in addition to helping them with new channel initiatives - data flow, systems and reporting
- Support sales and production teams with system/logistics requirements for events and special projects
- Key owner of inventory as it pertains to inbound shipments: tracking incoming shipments and ensuring they are received at our warehouse in a timely manner
- Support HQ teams in all things related to fulfillment + inventory from our warehouse - personals, gifting, photoshoot samples, etc
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
- Help create and grow our overall capabilities through strategic planning and drive execution of building-wide initiatives to support our company goals
- Partner with warehouse teams to support both DTC and wholesale fulfillment - attending weekly external meetings
- Quarterly visits to our warehouse
Wholesale Operations
- Assist Wholesale team with pre + post market operational needs - data uploads, analyzing bookings against forecast
- Managing seasonal order uploads post market into inventory management system
- Partner with Production on creating purchase orders post market
- Special projects as needed to support Wholesale team
Retail Operations
- Drive accuracy, lead with data and knowledge of inventory, operations and sales.
- Ensure strong operational execution with day-to-day operations, leading the store to be productive and efficient
- Provide clear and consistent communication to HQ employees to strengthen the understanding of customer needs between HQ and the store.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for order and inventory processes as they relate to the store
- Manage inventory and inventory reconciliation with the support of the Operations team, including receiving all inbound and outbound shipment and orders, as well as transfer orders. This also includes upholding consistent inventory accuracy in-store through weekly/monthly counts
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of operational or related experience, preferably in retail
- Highly proficient in Excel
- Highly analytical with a keen eye for detail as it relates to large datasets
- You have a start up mentality. You can think big but are not afraid to be scrappy when needed!
- A natural problem solver: lead urgent projects, prioritize tasks, and overcome obstacles that come your way with autonomy.
- Set a high bar when it comes to attention to detail and inspire the team to hold themselves accountable to the same high standards for their work
- Ability to meet deadlines, while working independently and as a team.
- You can work on tight timelines and remain calm under pressure, developing ideas and solutions quickly when needed.
- Is a quick learner in a fast-paced environment and has an appetite to take on a variety of tasks.
- Inventory management experience preferred
- Systems familiarity should include Shopify Plus and inventory management systems similar to Brightpearl or Blue Cherry
- You must have a valid driver's license and are local to the Bay Area
