Solawave is seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of our DTC, Amazon and Wholesaler fulfillment. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that 3PL and distribution operations run efficiently, meeting both customer demands and company goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations management, a keen eye for process improvement, and a passion for quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Fulfillment Management: Oversee the entire fulfillment process for DTC, Amazon and wholesale partners from Netsuite to 3PL to ensure that products are shipped on time, within budget, and to the required KPI's. Troubleshoot any EDI, ASN or late order issues.
- Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Oversee the inventory at Amazon location and 3PL . Place assembling order to keep accurate inventory levels meets the forecast.
- Warehouse & Distribution: Manage 3PL for receiving, order processes, sku/BOM setup, shipping material inventory, monthly order forecast. Review monthly 3PL performance and warehouse invoice and follow up any dispute and quality issues.
- Retailer operation Management: Work with all retail partners, addressing their operations queries, concerns, and feedback efficiently. Complete new vendor set up, SKU set up and SKU management for EDI, promotional calendar submission forms specific to each retail partner and work within vendor portals, chargeback, return, invoice issues.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve operational processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
- Project management: Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and customer service. Manage special projects or promotion programs for operation support.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on operational performance, including DTC fulfillment SLA, inventory levels, monthly retailer shipping report, warehouse & shipping cost, etc
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in operations, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.
- At least 2 years in a project management position.
- Demonstrable analytical skills with proficiency in metrics evaluation.
- Strong proficiency in managing 3PL, retailer relationships and understanding the retail landscape.
- Experience with Netsuite, SPS and inventory analytics software.
- Ability to flex both creative and analytical muscles, applying out-of-the-box thinking to strategic problem-solving.
- A collaborative mindset and openness to feedback. You appreciate that great work is a product of collective effort and are comfortable expressing your ideas and changing your mind when presented with compelling perspectives.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous start-up environment.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales or a related field is required; a Master's degree would be a bonus.

- Based in our LA office, located in Culver City, this role is expected to be in the office Monday through Thursday, with flex to work from home on Fridays
