We are seeking a talented Organic Social Media Manager to join our team in our Organic Social Department and manage organic social media efforts across various platforms. The ideal candidate will be passionate about social media, possess a creative mindset and have a keen understanding of how to engage and grow online communities. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing organic social media strategies that align with client brand objectives and resonate with their target audiences.
This is a full-time remote position, working with team members across our Mod Op offices.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, curate and implement organic social media strategies, and execute them across platforms
- Create engaging and compelling content tailored to each social media platform
- Foster meaningful interactions with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner
- Implement strategies to grow our clients’ social media following organically, including outreach, collaborations and user-generated content initiatives
- Monitor and analyze key metrics to track the performance of social media campaigns and derive actionable insights for optimization
- Stay updated on the latest social media trends, algorithm changes and best practices to ensure our clients’ content remains relevant and effective
- Collaborate closely with client and internal teams to ensure consistency in messaging and alignment of social media efforts with broader marketing initiatives
- Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure a consistent posting schedule
- Participate and assist in social listening opportunities for clients
- Conduct competitive and owned channel audits as needed for new or existing clients
- Build and maintain relationships with clients when working on client-facing projects
- Manage workload and priorities when working across a variety of clients with similar deadlines
- Be flexible to on-demand asks during work hours and support team through collaborative tasks and assignments
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to think creatively and develop innovative content ideas that resonate with social media audiences
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging and persuasive copy for social media posts, captions and responses
- In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn) and their respective best practices
- Proficiency in social media analytics tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite,) to track performance metrics and derive insights
- Experience in managing online communities and fostering meaningful engagement with followers
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in social media algorithms, trends, platform features and client needs
Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in social media management, agency experience preferred
- Demonstrated success in growing and engaging social media audiences across multiple platforms
