Last year, investment volume on our platform quadrupled, prompting our team to grow from 6 to 20 engineers. We organize into small, cross-functional pods, each taking ownership of a segment of the founder & investor journey. We pride ourselves on being a full-stack startup; our aim is to remain lean and adaptable. There's no bureaucracy here. We're a small team, and we move quickly.

Requirements

Your Role

• This role is for experienced Product Engineers who want to shape our platform, contribute to product discussions, and provide a strong technical voice in the development process.
• Your mission is to enhance the experience for both founders and investors. Investing on our platform is about more than just financial return; it's about being part of something meaningful.
• You'll develop products and features that enhance the fundraising experience, prioritizing ROI while understanding product/technical tradeoffs.
• Joining a small, mission-oriented team, you'll collaborate closely with designers and product managers in an environment where roles sometimes overlap.
• You're committed to continuous learning and growth, both personally and for your team.

Skills & Experience

• Proficiency in a modern JavaScript framework like React, along with solid HTML/CSS skills. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
• Strong execution as an engineer, with the ability to balance quick iterations with sustainable, scalable solutions.
• A deep interest in understanding the product and user interactions, striving for a comprehensive understanding of the system.
• Excellent communication skills, thriving in a collaborative environment where engineers, PMs, and designers work closely together.
• Ability to navigate the unpredictability and ambiguity of a startup environment, embracing change and surprises.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $175,000 / year (mid to senior level role)
