Our client, a rapidly evolving blockchain company, is seeking a Product Owner, DEX  to drive the strategy and development of our cutting-edge Decentralized Exchange (DEX) platform. 

The role:

• As a Product Owner, DEX, you'll shape product functionality, features, requirements, and specifications, ensuring alignment with desired outcomes and customer value delivery.
• You'll be the voice of the customers and organization, translating needs into tangible roadmaps and features. Collaborating with business and technology stakeholders, you'll prioritize features and user stories, ensuring alignment with customer needs and organizational goals.
• Partnering with IT teams, you'll gain a deep understanding of the technologies within your portfolio and their impact on the end-user experience, empowering informed decisions and continuous improvement.
• With your strategic vision, customer-centric mindset, and technical acumen, you'll play a crucial role in shaping our DEX platform, delivering exceptional value to customers and driving organizational success in the cryptocurrency and blockchain landscape.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a product manager/owner, with a proven track record of successfully guiding products through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, leveraging agile development methodologies.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a product manager/owner in the cryptocurrency/blockchain domain, with a demonstrable history of delivering innovative and impactful products.
• Deep domain expertise in Decentralized Finance (DeFi), including a comprehensive understanding of market trends, derivatives products (perpetuals, lending/borrowing), liquidity provision/market making dynamics, yield strategies, and related products.
• Extensive experience with trading systems, such as centralized and decentralized exchanges, perpetuals trading platforms, and a deep understanding of their underlying mechanics.
• Exceptional product research skills and a passion for ideating and developing cutting-edge, innovative solutions that solve real-world problems.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and collaboration skills, with experience working in a globally distributed team environment.
• Strong grasp of mathematical and financial concepts, enabling effective collaboration with engineering teams.
• A technical background that allows you to work closely with engineering teams, facilitating effective communication and ensuring a seamless product development process.
• Proven ability to understand complex problems, break them down into manageable components, and articulate clear, straightforward solutions.
