Fuse is looking for a detail-oriented Production Controller to support the production, quality, and program teams in driving to excellence in on-time, high-quality deliveries. Apply your dynamic and highly organized mindset to track and schedule assembly of our sophisticated electronics solutions. This role will be integral to Fuse’s ability to deliver products for U.S. defense agencies that improve the sharing of information among warfighters distributed throughout airborne, maritime, and ground environments. Successful candidates will be nimble self-starters who are excited about Fuse’s technology and are able to analyze processes and suggest powerful new ideas.
Warfighter-focused design and development is at the heart of Fuse processes. Throughout Fuse development, our experienced team applies the best practices of commercial design-thinking, coupled to the DoD systems engineering framework. The coupling of commercially proven design with rigorous systems engineering gives Fuse an ability to rapidly design, develop and field solutions well inside of typical military design cycles. Fuse rapidly innovates, putting creative concepts into action and refining those concepts through hands-on testing, user evaluation, and iterations.
What you’ll do:
- Maintain the day-to-day schedule for production starts and completions
- Issue and track manufacturing orders for production
- Validate in process work matches electronic records
- Coordinate with Quality department on the collection and retention appropriate production records
- Assist in coordinating with purchasing and receiving to validate material is on hand for planned manufacturing operations and to align schedule to planned receipt of parts
- Assist in the creation of purchase requisitions to cover projected material shortfalls
- Develop production schedule based on parts arrival, technician availability, and company priorities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the implementation of new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software systems for production, quality and purchasing
- Assist in the inspection and correction of data in the inventory management system in support of ERP transition
Requirements
We are looking for:
- High school diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing administration and scheduling
- US Citizen (requirement)
- Experience working in a production environment
- Solid judgment to proactively identify and solve complex problems
- Experience utilizing computer-based manufacturing and planning tools
- Ability to visually present current and projected production plans, inventory levels, and potential shortfalls
- Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize in changing situations
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills across departments and with supervisors and managers

Nice to have:
- Electronics manufacturing background
- Microsoft Excel expertise
- Participated in or supported IS9001 and AS9100 quality management systems and/or audits
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, SharePoint, Microsoft Project, Power BI, Fishbowl Inventory Management System, and/or Jira
- Planned first article builds and low-rate initial production runs
- Assisted in establishing production processes
