Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee and coordinate a series of interconnected projects across our operational verticals, including IT Operations, Compliance, Customer Support, and Customer Onboarding. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing multiple related projects that align with organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Atlassian Jira and the ability to manage initiatives, epics, stories, and tasks within a programmatic context. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring the candidate to be present in the Pleasanton office 5 days a week.
Requirements
- Program Oversight: Develop and maintain the program strategy and its related projects to ensure alignment with the organization's strategic objectives.
- Project Coordination: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects across multiple verticals, ensuring they meet quality standards, deadlines, and budget requirements.
- Jira Management: Expertly manage project timelines, deliverables, and resources using Atlassian Jira. Set up and maintain initiatives, epics, stories, and tasks to ensure clear visibility and tracking of project progress.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the linchpin for cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless communication and coordination between IT Operations, Compliance, Customer Support, Customer Onboarding, and Development teams.
- Stakeholder Communication: Keep all stakeholders informed of project status, potential risks, and decision points. Prepare and present regular project reports and updates.
- Problem Solving: Identify potential project bottlenecks or delays early and develop effective solutions. Facilitate negotiations and problem-solving sessions as needed.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate project management processes and workflows for efficiency and effectiveness. Implement improvements to streamline operations and enhance team productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, IT, or a related field. PMP certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in a tech or SaaS environment.
- Profound knowledge of Atlassian Jira, including setting up projects, managing workflows, and generating reports.
- Strong understanding of the project lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams towards achieving project goals.
