Cuesta Construction is looking for a full-time, experienced Project Engineer to join our team at Costa Mesa, CA 92626.

Job Summary
The Project Engineer would be working closely with Project Managers on managing construction projects, bids, submittals, and more. The ideal candidate would be able to work independently, manage multiple projects with various deadlines, and professionally communicate with subcontractors, clients, and vendors.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing high profile projects
- Create, manage and track RFI process
- Manage and track project submittals through to approvals
- Estimating, budgeting and take-offs
- Collecting, vetting, and qualifying bids, entering bid information
- Assist with change orders
- Managing the project closeout process, obtaining and distributing all required closeout documentation
- Plan distribution and documentations
- Assist the Project Managers, providing updates on a daily basis
- Perform special projects and completing other duties, as assigned.
Job Details: This is a full-time position on-site, Monday through Friday, plus occasional field work to conduct job walks or job site visits.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
- Must have 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Must be proficient with Bluebeam
- Proficient using Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel
- Experience using Smartsheets is preferred, but not required
- Must be good with multi-tasking and handling multiple projects at the same time.
- Strong problem-solving skills and consistent attention to detail.
- Must be able to legally work in the US and pass a background check.
