Full Job Description
Drake Cooper is seeking a talented Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager at Drake Cooper, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful execution of projects for our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, developers, strategists, and account managers, to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your exceptional organizational and communication skills will be put to the test as you manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
This position is a hybrid role from our L.A. office and you will be working on a Fortune 50 Energy Company.
Responsibilities
- Leads project workflow by planning, tracking, managing, and driving all steps in the project life cycle (including strategy and media milestones) for simple and complex projects.
- Projects could range from UX and website feature development or large fully integrated campaigns (TV, print, digital, outdoor) to smaller email marketing projects
- Collaborates with and communicates with cross-functional teams and PMs to manage expectations and keep teams aligned
- Prioritizes project workflows based on changing dynamics/resource availability
- Raises potential risks to the internal team by proactively identifying issues and proposing real-time solutions
- Asks key questions to gain clarity around project needs to facilitate next steps/action items
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience as a project manager
- Prior advertising agency experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented
- Takes initiative as a proactive problem solver
- Big-picture, methodical thinker to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Adaptable and able to change gears quickly and nimbly when unexpected changes occur
- Exemplary verbal and written communication skills to relay information simply and clearly to cross-functional teams
- Collaborative and calm under pressure
