Full Job Description
Endeavor Fire Protection Holdings LLC is seeking a Regional Human Resources Manager to join our dynamic team supporting our Western Region operating companies. As a leading provider of fire and life safety services in the United States, Endeavor Fire offers a wide range of inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation services for portable fire extinguishers, fire sprinklers, fire alarms, emergency lighting, and plumbing systems. Our union operating companies include Valley Fire Protection (IN & IL), High Sierra Fire Protection (NV & CA), and Kimble & Company Fire Protection (CA). The Regional Human Resources Manager will play a critical role in supporting and implementing human resources strategies to meet the needs of our growing organization.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and state laws
- Provide guidance to management teams on HR matters, including employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary actions
- Oversee the recruitment and onboarding process, including conducting interviews and ensuring new hires have a positive experience
- Develop and lead training initiatives to enhance employee skills and foster professional development
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave of absence
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and ensure appropriate resolution
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in HR and proactively recommend improvements to policies and programs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years experience with California employment law experience
- Demonstrated experience working with unions
- Experience in the fire protection or construction industry preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR initiatives that align with business objectives
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred
- Ability to travel to regional locations about 25% of the time
