Full Job Description
The Home Manager plays a vital role in overseeing the daily operations and activities of adults with developmental disabilities in our intermediate care facility. Working closely with the QIDP/Administrator, the Home Manager ensures that each resident's active treatment program is effectively carried out every day. They are responsible for maintaining accurate records and documentation related to residents and house matters, as well as providing essential training to all staff members. The Home Manager also supports residents in developing living skills, maintaining their health, administering medication, and enhancing personal care and behavioral skills. Serving as a friendly point of contact, the Home Manager connects families, administration, and the staff of the resident’s day program, creating a supportive and collaborative environment.
Requirements
The Home Manager role can be a live-in opportunity! To apply, you'll need either at least 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, along with 300 hours in social services. While an AA or higher degree in the human services field is preferred, it's not a strict requirement. Given the rules and guidelines within an intermediate care facility, we’re looking for someone who can follow directions set by their supervisor and the diverse team of professionals. A high school diploma or equivalent is a must!
