Life is Good is a positive lifestyle brand founded by brothers Bert and John Jacobs in 1994. The brand and privately held company are based on a foundational belief that optimism is not a soft philosophy, but a pragmatic strategy for living a happy and fulfilling life. Today, Life is Good is best known for its positive messages, artwork, and casual apparel for men, women, and kids. Strategic brand initiatives include many in-progress extensions into new industries and partnerships. YOUR OBJECTIVE

You manage the customer experience for our retail customers. You are the architect of our presence in a new market and the brand ambassador for optimistic messages. With your team, you create positive brand impressions, spread the power of optimism, and sell our products while they are still fresh and relevant. Through your deep knowledge of the retail environment, you deliver excellent revenue growth and lasting brand loyalty.

YOUR JOB

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and retain an outstanding team
• Deliver consistently excellent customer experiences
• Meet sales, presentation, and inventory goals through capable management
• Develop strategies and plans to grow the business through authentic local connections
• Attract and convert street and impulse traffic by creating a compelling store environment and appealing assortments
• Ensure a safe and secure workplace
• Implement sound operational practices
• Effectively handle complaints, issues, and concerns as they arise
• Provide useful, timely feedback to Life is Good on assortment opportunities, localized needs of the consumer and local marketing opportunities

Requirements

Your Experience and Qualifications:

• You have successfully developed and led sales teams
• You have achieved significant growth in your prior retail experience
• You have had full P&L management experience
• You are described by your past peers and employees as an inspirational leader who brings out the best in people
